The House TD 2 Launch The House TD 2 Units Tier List

Role-based rankings for DeadB Studios' early beta — not fake DPS from the original House TD.

Last updated:

This units tier framework for The House TD 2 ranks summons by the job they do on cursed floors and by how they interact with faction coin majorities. It is written for DeadB Studios’ early beta on Roblox Place 131367064230486. If a graphic quotes precise damage-per-second from Spectral’s original House TD, throw that graphic out.

Tier legend for early beta

  • S — Planmaker: Changes how you build a lobby when available.
  • A — Core starter: Reliable in the correct faction plan.
  • B — Situational: Excels on certain maps, modes, or boss scripts.
  • C — Flexible filler: Fine when it does not break majority math.
  • Onboarding: Essential unlock value even if later outclassed.

Grades move after patches — track Beta Notes.

Onboarding anchor: Kitty

Kitty — Onboarding / A for new accounts Claimed through the DeadB Studios group reward (leave/rejoin if needed). Kitty’s real tier is “gets you into real matches today.” Equip items early (Equip Items), learn placements on House, then decide whether Kitty stays as support glue or rotates out once your faction engine is online. See Getting Started.

Undead lane

Frank — A when Undead majority is locked Frank represents the Undead identity players already call out in TD2 lobbies. Play him when the team wants Undead coins and can protect the lane through zombie-heavy openers. If half the lobby brings Demon fashion picks instead, Frank’s value drops because the economy tilts away from Undead.

Bio — A/B flexible Undead-adjacent tool Bio shows up in community discussions as an early practical summon. Treat Bio as a role piece: clarify whether you need sustain, chip, or utility before you spam copies. On F2P paths, Bio often grades higher than chase units you cannot fund yet.

Demon lane

Duchess — S/A for Demon commitment nights Duchess is the headline Demon unit players reference. She climbs to S when the lobby actually commits Demon for Demon coins and protects her through early ghosts/shadows. She falls to B if she is a solo off-faction trophy that wrecks a Military or Holy majority. Pair with Best Teams.

Military lane

Military units (category grade A for structured lobbies) Military kits reward players who communicate placements and keep a clean majority. In twelve-player co-op, Military shines when someone hosts with a planner — use Team Planner. Random legendary chaos is the enemy; disciplined fire lanes are the point.

Holy and Paranormal answers

Holy — A vs cursed/ghost-forward mods When rooms punish unclean boards with ghostly pressure, Holy identities rise. They are not automatically better on every Kitchen clear; they are better when the mode script says so. Read Floors and Modes.

Paranormal — A/B specialist Paranormal pieces are your hedge against shadow-heavy scripting and weird room rules. Keep one flexible slot in experimental lobbies, but announce it so teammates do not accidentally create a four-way split.

Omni reality check

Omni is not a unit — it is what the coin system does when no faction holds a majority (for example, tidy 2+2 splits). “Omni tier” means valuing units that still perform when the lobby intentionally mixes tools. Some nights you want that. Many farm nights you do not. The Starter Checklist helps you decide before waves accelerate.

Role bands (use these more than letters)

Frontline / disruption Units that buy time while glass cannons ramp. Grade them by how often your team stops leaking early House lanes.

Crowd clear Essential vs dense zombie packs. Over-investing here without boss damage creates How to Beat Bosses failures later.

Boss focus Single-target or execute-style jobs. Always assign at least one before enabling 3x speed.

Support / tempo Kitty-like glue, item holders, and utility that keeps auto-skip honest.

Faction engine Any unit whose main contribution is helping lock Undead, Paranormal, Demon, Military, or Holy coins.

How to tier a new summon yourself

  1. Name its primary role in one sentence.
  2. Name its faction tag impact on majority math.
  3. Test on House at normal speed with items equipped.
  4. Test once on Kitchen or a harsher cursed room.
  5. Test one boss wave.
  6. Only then compare with friends’ screenshots.

Anti-patterns that fake a low tier

  • Judging Kitty useless because it was free.
  • Grading Duchess while she is the only Demon on a Military board.
  • Using original House TD damage tables.
  • Never equipping items, then calling the unit weak.
  • Maxing speed before placements stabilize (How to Play).

Translate these grades into comps on Best Teams, budget routes on F2P, and live assignments on Team Planner. Keep redeem hygiene on the Codes Hub so wrong-game promos never distract you from summoning practice.

Units in The House TD 2 earn their keep through role coverage and faction honesty. Rank the job, protect the majority, equip the item, and let early-beta patches move the letters — not the other way around.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for The House TD 2 Launch players.

Why are there no exact DPS numbers?

Early beta numbers shift quickly, and many viral sheets still belong to the original House TD. This page ranks roles and faction impact instead.

Is Kitty low tier because it is free?

No. Kitty is the onboarding anchor from the DeadB Studios group reward and grades well for new accounts even if later comps rotate it.

Does faction matter more than unit rarity?

Often yes. Breaking a majority can cost the lobby that faction's coins and push everyone toward Omni income.

Where should I go after picking units?

Build a full plan on Best Teams and Team Planner, then practice the loop in How to Play before chasing harder bosses.
